The Private Health Insurance Ombudsman publishes an annual report to provide comparative information on the performance and service delivery of all health insurers during the previous financial year.

The main aim of publishing the report is to give consumers some extra information to help them when making decisions about private health insurance. It provides an indication of the services available from each health insurer, together with a comparison on some service and performance indicators.
